TAMASHII NATIONS, the collectible toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., will release the latest product in its popular "S.H.Figuarts" action figure series, themed after the DC cinematic universe film "Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom." This new item, "S.H.Figuarts Aquaman (Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom)," will have a suggested retail price of 9,900 JPY and is scheduled for release in May 2024!
Directed by James Wan, "Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom" is the climactic final chapter of the "Snyderverse" DC Universe. Jason Momoa reprises his role as Aquaman – Arthur Curry. In the sequel, he must team up with his half-brother Orm to fight against the villain Black Manta, who has obtained the ancient artifact, the Black Trident, to avenge his father and protect Atlantis and the world from irreversible destruction.
The "S.H.Figuarts Aquaman (Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom)" figure stands approximately 16 cm tall and faithfully recreates Jason Momoa's imposing physique. He wears his iconic golden battle suit, featuring delicate fish-scale-like textures with metallic paintwork for a sense of weight. The lower body, forearms, and shin guards are adorned with varying shades of metallic green, presenting the classic battle suit color scheme! It includes two expressive interchangeable face parts that capture Jason Momoa's likeness, along with impressive accessories such as his trident and water splash effect parts, allowing collectors to recreate various heroic poses, from high-speed underwater swimming to trident-spinning action!
