Japanese toy company Good Smile Company's best-selling "Nendoroid" (ねんどろいど) series will release a Nendoroid figure of "Leon S. Kennedy," the protagonist from CAPCOM's popular game "Resident Evil 4 Remake"! Scheduled for release in June 2024. Priced at 7,200 JPY.
CAPCOM released "Resident Evil 4 Remake" in March 2023. After the remakes of the original Resident Evil series, many expected the next title to be "Code: Veronica," but surprisingly, it was the fourth installment that received a remake. The original version, released on the GameCube console in 2005, captivated many players with its innovative gameplay at the time.
The protagonist of this title is "Leon S. Kennedy," the rookie police officer who first appeared in Resident Evil 2. After surviving the Raccoon City incident, Leon was forced to work for the government, undergoing rigorous training to become a direct agent for the U.S. President. With significantly improved skills, his mission in Resident Evil 4 is to travel to Spain to rescue the President's daughter, "Ashley," who has been kidnapped by a mysterious organization. There, he becomes entangled in the conspiracy of a mysterious cult and reunites with his old acquaintance, "Ada Wong."
