The Danish LEGO toy company and the U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) have continuously collaborated in recent years, releasing excellent products that excite many space enthusiasts. For example, the "42158 NASA Perseverance Mars Rover" released this August is a rather impressive model. Now, LEGO has reached a new milestone in the space exploration theme, with four highly futuristic Technic series products set to be released starting March 2024! Let's quickly take a look at the new releases numbered 42178, 42179, 42180, and 42181!
Beyond the excitement of a new series evident from the box art, these space-themed vehicles boast a more futuristic and technological feel compared to previous LEGO releases. They are primarily colored in orange, white, and black, with the gray tires appearing on 42178 and 42180 being particularly striking elements! The vehicles include a Space Loader, an Exploration Rover inspired by NASA's Mars rover concept design, and a heavy cargo spaceship. Another model is based on the orbital paths of Earth and the Moon. Notably, these new products also introduce a brand-new octagonal orange "Link Brick" part, which, with its unique molding and connection points, brings even more possibilities to the Technic series.
