Japan's renowned plush toy manufacturer Sanei Boeki recently announced the upcoming release of their latest product, the 'Splat Bomb (S) Plush,' based on Nintendo's popular shooting game Splatoon 3, scheduled for April 2024.
The Splat Bomb from the Splatoon series is a practical, simple yet profound sub-weapon appreciated by both veterans and newcomers. Its usage is similar to grenades in other games: it explodes shortly after hitting the ground, dealing a maximum of 180 damage, with a single throw potentially sending all opponents back to their spawn. Normally, only one can be thrown at a time, but by combining it with the 'Ink Saver (Sub)' gear ability, it's possible to throw two bombs simultaneously, significantly increasing the chance of splatting opponents!
The 'Splat Bomb (S) Plush' from Sanei Boeki features an adorable height of approximately 16 cm and is available in three colors: fluorescent blue, yellow, and dark blue. Its design faithfully recreates the onigiri-like triangular cone shape and vibrant frame, allowing you to throw the Splat Bomb just like in the game and play with friends. However, its price is also very 'Nintendo-like,' costing 2,530 JPY per plush.
