Released by Japanese model manufacturer FUJIMI, the popular Godzilla plastic model kit series, "CHIBIMARU Godzilla," which combines cute Q-version proportions with the cool styling of the original design, recently announced the first installment of a series renewal featuring entirely new molds: "Godzilla (1989) 70th Anniversary Edition," scheduled for release in March 2024.

This product utilizes completely new sculpting to recreate Godzilla as he appeared in the movie "Godzilla vs. Biollante." It is composed of four-color molded parts (black, gray, white, red) and stickers, resulting in a low-proportioned figure of approximately 10 cm in height when completed, while retaining the original fierce and cool expression of its head. For articulation, the mouth, neck, limbs, and tail all feature movable mechanisms.

The product also includes special bonuses such as a "special B5 clear file & paper coaster" commemorating Godzilla's 70th anniversary, as well as a first-edition limited bonus: "Biollante's Tentacle." This tentacle features movable mechanisms, and FUJIMI has also teased its ability to link with future products, making it almost certain that the next product will be the giant monster "Biollante," cultivated from G-cells and roses!
