First aired in 1985, 'Mobile Suit Z Gundam' is the second installment in the Gundam series directed by animation director Yoshiyuki Tomino. The story takes place in Universal Century 0087, after the One Year War of the previous work. Due to the prolonged threat from Zeon remnants, the Earth Federation Forces split into two major military factions: the Titans, who advocated 'Earth Supremacy,' and the AEUG, who were more sympathetic to space residents. The intricate power struggles and rising tensions among these three factions ultimately led to the multi-sided conflict known as the 'Gryps Conflict.'

Following the already released Gundam Mk-II (Titans Specifications), Bandai has once again showcased mobile suits that appeared early in 'Z Gundam,' including Rick Dias, Gundam Mk-II (AEUG Specifications), and Hi-Zack. Continuing the series' style, these figures are produced based on anime design sketches, faithfully reproducing their refined and cool aesthetics, while also featuring a wealth of weaponry and effect parts.
