From China's high-quality collectible toy brand HIYA TOYS, their EXQUISITE BASIC Series, following "King Ghidorah" and "Godzilla," once again releases its latest product based on Legendary Pictures' 2019 film Godzilla: King of the Monsters: the "Rodan Flameborn" non-scale 6-inch action figure! The suggested retail price is US$51, with an estimated release in Q3 2024.
Appearing in Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Rodan is a Titan beast slumbering in a Mexican volcano, known locally as "Flameborn (Demon of Fire)." Rodan's massive wingspan measures 265.5 meters, and the powerful winds generated by its flight alone can easily topple city buildings. Its rough, lava-like skin is extremely hot and constantly emits a red glow.
The HIYA TOYS "EXQUISITE BASIC Rodan Flameborn" non-scale 6-inch action figure is produced based on the film's original CG data, faithfully recreating details such as its sharp teeth and keen eyes. The figure measures approximately 133 mm in length, with its massive wingspan reaching 400 mm when extended. The rough skin surface is intricately sculpted, and multi-layered paintwork creates a fiery magma effect. With the use of fluorescent paint, it emits a burning glow under UV light, just like in the movie! The entire body features 13 points of articulation, and the wings are made of soft PVC with embedded wires, allowing for adjustable wing poses. It comes with a dedicated stand to display its majestic aerial posture.
