Japan's TAKARA TOMY company's toy brand T-ARTS, following the "Hamada Masatoshi Collection" based on the Japanese New Year's Eve variety show "Absolutely No-Laughing" series, has finally launched the hilarious second installment, "No-Laughing Series Hamada Collection Part 2," after three and a half years! There are five types in total, with a reference price of 400 JPY per capsule, expected to be released in late December 2023!
For toy enthusiasts who love Japanese comedy shows, the most anticipated event at the end of each year is the "No-Laughing Series" New Year's Eve special, which rivals the Kohaku Uta Gassen in viewership! The theme is to experience 24 hours of different professional lives, but once the game begins, no matter what happens, all participating members "cannot laugh." If they laugh, they must face punishment! The production team goes all out, bringing forth various creative and hilarious props to make the five members and the audience "all out"! One of the hosts, comedian Hamada Masatoshi (DOWN TOWN), has a highly comedic, ape-like appearance, making him a prime target for the "No-Laughing Series" production team when creating funny props.
The second installment of the "No-Laughing Series Hamada Collection Part 2" gashapon features four hilarious props modeled after Hamada, including: "Ventriliquist Doll Hama-chan" from "Absolutely No-Laughing Passionate Teacher 24 Hours," designed with movable joints in the mouth, neck, and hands, allowing for ventriloquism play! The artistic "Bastiat's Work: Hamada" from "Absolutely No-Laughing Pauper GoTo Las Vegas 24 Hours!", and the super popular "Hamada Bust with Funny Mask" and "Funny Hamada Little Gorilla Doll" from "Absolutely No-Laughing Youth High School 24 Hours!" Additionally, there's the rare Hitoshi Matsumoto "Funny Macho Muscle Man Doll"! The small size allows you to carry it with you, making you a comedy assassin in everyday life.
