Issued by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collectible toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company, the 'S.H.Figuarts (Shinkocchou Seihou)' series, which sculpts from the skeletal structure to give tokusatsu heroes their original cool appearance and natural articulation, recently announced the latest product from "Kamen Rider Kuuga", the "Kamen Rider Kuuga Rising Titan Form", scheduled for release in May 2024.
Kamen Rider Kuuga is the form taken by adventurer protagonist Yusuke Godai after equipping the 'Arcle' transformation belt, used by an ancient Linto warrior found in the Kuoga ruins. He is the legendary warrior who fought against the Grongi tribe, also known by the police as "Unidentified Life Form No. 4". With the spiritual stone "Amadam" embedded in the Arcle, Kuuga can transform into various forms and manipulate corresponding natural elements. This product features the "Rising Titan Form," an enhanced version of the Earth element Titan Form, which sacrifices agility for formidable defense and strength. Its heavy armor effectively withstands attacks, and it can transform any sword-like object into its exclusive weapon, the "Titan Sword," to launch offensives.
The "S.H.Figuarts Kamen Rider Kuuga Rising Titan Form" is based on the previously released Kuuga body, meticulously recreating the same physique, contours, and sculpted details as the suit from the show. It is adorned with rich metallic purple and gold colors, faithfully reproducing the heavy armor on the upper body and the intricate carvings and buttons on the belt. The full body articulation also continues the excellent design of previous releases, allowing for natural and dynamic poses such as wielding two swords or a high kneeling stance. The accessories also include two "Rising Titan Swords," enabling the recreation of the powerful finishing move "Double Rising Calamity Titan"!
