The action figure brand "S.H.Figuarts," released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collectibles division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company, today (14th) unveiled a new product based on the "NARUTOP99 Commemorative Illustration" specially drawn by Masashi Kishimoto-sensei from "Naruto"! This article will bring you product information for "Uzumaki Naruto -NARUTOP99 Edition-"!
To commemorate the 20th anniversary of Masashi Kishimoto's popular manga series "NARUTO," a global popularity poll for Naruto characters was held from December 28, 2022, to January 31, 2023, garnering a total of 4,600,000 votes. The Fourth Hokage, "Minato Namikaze," secured an overwhelming first place, followed by the eternal older brother, "Itachi Uchiha," in second. Surprisingly, "Sakura Haruno" took third place, surpassing "Shisui Uchiha" and "Kakashi Hatake." Protagonists "Naruto Uzumaki" and "Sasuke Uchiha" ranked sixth and eighth, respectively. To thank fans worldwide for their support, Kishimoto-sensei specially drew the "NARUTOP99 Commemorative Illustration" (to make another wave of profit).
This figure stands approximately 14.5 cm tall. Its overall design is largely similar to the "Nine-Tails Jinchuriki Entrusted with Hope" version of Naruto, but the head sculpt, costume, and other details have been redrawn according to the special illustration. The most noticeable differences are the blue pupils, forehead protector, and color adjustments to the orange parts of the outfit. In addition to a confident smile, it includes a hilarious "punched-away" face, a warm, squinting smile, and three interchangeable expressions, including one with the right eye closed as if pouting. It also comes with a generous selection of interchangeable hands, a ninja tool kunai (クナイ), and a NARUTOP99 version flag. The depiction of him being sent flying by Sakura's monstrous strength is truly amazing!
