American collectible brand Numskull Designs' "TUBBZ" toy series, which transforms characters from major films, anime, manga, and video games into rubber ducks, recently unveiled a new set that compels you to acquire all four at once! All four protagonists from Ghostbusters are making an appearance! Expected to be released starting March 2024.
Released in 1984, Ghostbusters is a horror-comedy film with a "ghost-catching" theme, an eternal classic in the hearts of American pop culture enthusiasts. The story follows three doctors expelled from academia, "Peter Venkman," "Raymond Stantz," and "Egon Spengler," who use their expertise in paranormal scientific research to open a ghost-catching company, providing "ghost-busting services" to citizens with their self-developed and designed equipment. Although business was initially slow, they became an overnight sensation after catching the gluttonous Slimer in a luxury hotel, leading to the addition of a new member, "Winston Zeddemore," forming the classic Ghostbusters quartet.
This time, the Ghostbusters quartet, rendered in 3D in the TUBBZ series, fully reproduces the characters' distinctive appearances (primarily their hairstyles) and specific accessories from the film, making them instantly recognizable. These include Egon's round glasses, Stantz's goggles worn on his head, Venkman's walkie-talkie, and more. Beyond the name tags and the Ghostbusters logo printed on the shoulders of their jumpsuits, the proton packs on their backs also feature excellent detailed sculpting. Each figure stands at 9 cm tall, and all four displayed together look truly fantastic! It's also worth noting that the packaging box features a zipper pattern that matches their jumpsuits.
