Japanese toy company Gecco is set to release a 1/6 scale statue of the popular character "Artorias the Abysswalker" from From Software's signature action game "Dark Souls"! It is scheduled for release between June and September 2024, priced at 97,990 JPY.

From Software, the game company behind the recently popular "Elden Ring," has many highly acclaimed challenging action games such as "Demon's Souls," "Dark Souls," "Bloodborne," and "Sekiro." Among these, the "Dark Souls" trilogy is considered by many players to be an outstanding series. Despite its high difficulty, the game's mysterious lore, combined with medieval and Cthulhu-esque elements, keeps many players endlessly engaged, willing to face countless "YOU DIED" screens to uncover its depths.
The enemy boss "Knight Artorias," who appears in Dark Souls, is one of the Four Knights of Lord Gwyn and possesses a ring engraved with a wolf. He forged a covenant with the creatures of the Abyss, gaining the ability to traverse it, which earned him titles such as "Abyss Walker" and "Abysswalker." His signature weapon is a greatsword, which he wields with great mastery. Artorias bravely ventured to defeat Manus, Father of the Abyss, but ultimately failed, instead being consumed by the Abyss and losing his sanity.
This "Artorias the Abysswalker" figure by Gecco is crafted in 1/6 scale, standing approximately 38 cm tall, boasting an impressive presence due to its large size. Its appearance faithfully recreates his iconic initial pose from the game: his left arm hanging down, the weathered greatsword slung over his right shoulder, and his knees bent in a half-crouch, looking poised and ready for battle at any moment. His armor shows signs of damage, with a tattered cape and a blue scarf, and all the intricate details on his body have been meticulously sculpted. For fans of Dark Souls, this is a highly recommended collectible.
