Following last year's highly popular and best-selling 'No-Laughing Series Vol. 1' from BANDAI SPIRITS' immensely popular 'Ichiban Kuji' brand, the company today announced the second installment based on the Japanese New Year's Eve variety show 'No-Laughing Series,' titled 'Ichiban Kuji GAKI NO TSUKAI No-Laughing Series vol.2,' slated for release in mid-May 2024.
This prize lineup also incorporates rich elements from past programs, especially the classic '24-Hour Great Prison Break' broadcast on New Year's Eve in 2015! The top prizes, A and B, are high-quality MASTERLISE figures: 'Hitoshi Matsumoto ~140kg Bench Press Prisoner Ver.~' and 'Masatoshi Hamada ~Alluring Sexy Female Prisoner Ver.~,' respectively. These figures recreate their prisoner outfits from the '24-Hour Great Prison Break' with a style that is even more realistic than realism itself!
Sample images for other prizes have not yet been revealed, but their names offer a glimpse into their designs. These include a hilarious 'AKIO' shaped cushion, inspired by Hosei Tsukitei's son from the Great Prison Break, towels featuring the 'No-Laughing Series' DVD box art style, as well as stationery sets, towel collections, and ink-wash style clear files & stickers, all incorporating 'No-Laughing' elements.
The Last One Prize and Double Chance Campaign, also major prizes, feature the MASTERLISE 'Hitoshi Matsumoto and Little Gorilla' figure. Judging by the name, it's likely a hilarious combination of Matsumoto and Hamada's 'Little Gorilla' character. We eagerly await the full details to be revealed!
