BANDAI SPIRITS Hobby Division's new branch of the original model kit series '30 MINUTES', '30 MINUTES FANTASY', unveiled its product design drafts and latest prototypes for the first time at the "4th 30 MINUTES LABEL New Product Presentation" held last night, with an anticipated release in Summer 2024.
'30 MINUTES FANTASY' is a new series themed around various fantasy world professions. It inherits the '30 MINUTES' hallmarks of easy assembly, simple structure, and infinite customization. Utilizing highly articulated base bodies, characters can wear profession-specific armor and gradually upgrade from beginner to advanced professions, continuously strengthening the character much like a job change system in a game.
The first product line is slated to feature the 'Knight' profession. The base body is designed by mechanical designer Kanetake Ebikawa, and in addition to excellent expandability, it can achieve flexible and natural poses such as standing, running, and high kneeling, much like the human body.
The base body can change professions by swapping out armor, starting from the initial beginner profession, 'Knight (CLASS I)'. The third stage of job change will be released separately as expansion armor, branching into two job paths: 'Ark Knight' and 'Paladin'.
