Shanghai-based statue manufacturer Infinity Studio recently unveiled its latest product from James Cameron's "Avatar: The Way of Water": the "Neytiri" 1/1 scale bust! It will be simultaneously released in two versions: Standard and Premium (which includes an additional base), with shipments expected to begin in Q4 2024.
This stunning life-size rendition of Omaticaya Princess Neytiri stands approximately 117.3 cm tall (Premium Version). It not only faithfully captures the facial contours portrayed by actress Zoe Saldaña in the film, but also features an immense amount of effort put into the costume accessories! After repeatedly collecting extensive data and studying WETA FX's film prop production videos and data, the final product is crafted with materials true to the original visual effects, including turquoise and pinecone shells for the necklace, waxed leather cords for the goggles, and leather and plant seeds on the chest, among others. Neytiri's long hair is even made from approximately 110,000 strands of silk fiber, combined with realistic paint application, resulting in an incredibly high level of completion.
Beyond the exquisite Neytiri figure itself, the base, modeled after the natural environment of the beautiful planet Pandora, is also a highlight. From vibrant plants and trees brimming with life to the bioluminescent spores (LED illuminated), which are one of the standout features of this piece, everything is truly spectacular!
