Good Smile Arts Shanghai has announced the latest product from their new model series "Hyper Body," which features a "Mecha x Bishoujo" theme. This new item, "Charged Particle Cannon Equipped General-Purpose Fighter Cuckoo," based on an original character by concept designer Ota Yojo, is scheduled for release in November 2024.
The heavily armed girl "Cuckoo" is an original character by concept designer Ota Yojo, who is affiliated with the Japanese game company Nitro Plus. In addition to her heavy armor covering her legs and armaments such as a rifle and halberd, her most distinctive feature is the two massive "Charged Particle Cannons" mounted on either side of her backpack. "Hyper Body" faithfully reproduces her design and offers multiple play options, utilizing the series' signature pre-painted articulated girl body and self-assembly armament parts.
The girl body of the "Hyper Body Charged Particle Cannon Equipped General-Purpose Fighter Cuckoo" is pre-painted, meticulously reproducing her minimal clothing design. Its precise part segmentation also allows for flexible articulation. It comes with three interchangeable face plates: "Normal Face," "Combat Face," and "Focused Face," along with five pairs of interchangeable hand parts, allowing her to wield weapons such as a heavy assault rifle, combat halberd, and dagger to pose in various combat stances.
Once the armament parts are assembled, they can be combined with the body to recreate her fully equipped form. Including the barrels of the two side-mounted charged particle cannons, she boasts an impressive height of 28.5 cm. In addition to detailed features like thruster nozzles, heat sinks, and head antennas, the bases of the two charged particle cannons also have articulated mechanisms, allowing them to pivot forward. Furthermore, the leg armor features a special interlocking mechanism that causes the armor to slide when the knee joint bends, reducing interference and maintaining articulation.
Additionally, ordering this product from the "GOODSMILE Online Shop" will include an exclusive bonus "Excited Face" interchangeable part.
