Following the "Demogorgon" and the main protagonists, Hong Kong toy brand threezero's "Stranger Things" themed products once again welcome a terrifying villain! The main antagonist of "Stranger Things 4", "Vecna", is now a 1/6 scale articulated figure! Pre-orders will open tomorrow (21st) at the threezero Store, with an estimated shipping date in Q2 2024.
As the main antagonist of "Stranger Things 4", "Vecna" originates from one of the most classic villains in "Dungeons & Dragons", a powerful undead wizard who was ultimately destroyed, leaving only his left eye and left hand. In "Dungeons & Dragons", "The Eye of Vecna", "The Hand of Vecna", and "The Book of Vile Darkness" authored by Vecna are all legendary artifacts. The Vecna in "Stranger Things", however, is a terrifying character capable of invading the vulnerability and darkness within human minds from the Upside Down, and brutally killing them.
This threezero articulated figure of Vecna stands approximately 32 cm tall, featuring 36 points of articulation throughout its body. The terrifying physique of Vecna is meticulously rendered with exquisite sculpting, from the bald head, the tree roots and vines covering the body, and the lifeless, pale skin, to the gradient paint application that conveys a sense of decay and revulsion, all with incredible detail. The head sculpt's eyes also feature a murky color expression, exuding an eerie aura just by being posed! The accessories focus on interchangeable hand sculpts; the large and sharp clawed replacement hands undoubtedly enhance Vecna's destructive power. However, it would be even better if vine parts that could be attached to the back were included!
