Following their previous Gigamaster Series "King Ghidorah Statue," Thai emerging art collectibles studio SPIRAL STUDIO has once again announced a new "King Ghidorah" statue from the 2019 film "Godzilla: King of the Monsters," as part of their latest Titans of the Monsterverse (TOTM) series! The suggested retail price is US$1,325, with an estimated release in Q1 2025.
Appearing in "Godzilla: King of the Monsters," King Ghidorah is a monster known as "MONSTER ZERO," discovered by Monarch dormant in the Antarctic ice and forcibly awakened by an eco-terrorist organization's plan. Initially thought to be a "Titan" like Godzilla, Mothra, and Rodan, maintaining Earth's order, King Ghidorah is actually an extraterrestrial species that invaded Earth billions of years ago. Its three heads possess distinct personalities, and it boasts powerful regenerative abilities, making its size arguably the largest in its history.
This "TOTM King Ghidorah" statue by SPIRAL STUDIO is modeled after Ghidorah's appearance in the Legendary series films. It is crafted with high-precision detailed sculpting based on the 3D model used in the movie. The main body stands an impressive 51 cm tall, with a powerful wingspan of 104 cm wide, faithfully recreating its golden scales, musculature, wing membranes, and other intricate details, bringing forth a true sense of monstrous biology! The Hollywood version imbues the three-headed dragon with distinct personalities for each head, and its piercing eyes highlight the unique appearance of this monster!
