BANDAI SPIRITS Hobby Division in Japan has announced the latest 1/144 scale Gunpla product, the "Option Parts Set Gunpla 01 (Aile Striker)" from "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED," scheduled for release in May 2024.
The "Option Parts Set Gunpla 01 (Aile Striker)" is produced in the same 1/144 scale as the ENTRY GRADE and HIGH GRADE series. It includes newly sculpted armaments and adapter parts such as the "Aile Striker Pack," "Beam Saber x2," "Energy Pack," "Grand Slam," "Bazooka," and "MMI-M1001 90mm Anti-Air Shotgun."
This product comes with both single-axis and dual-axis backpack adapter parts, allowing it to be combined with the separately sold "ENTRY GRADE 1/144 Strike Gundam" or select HG series Gunpla to recreate the EG version of the Aile Strike Gundam. The beam saber mounts, both main wings, and two thrusters are all articulated, and it can even form an original configuration where the mobile suit is parallel to the wings. Furthermore, various armaments from "Gundam SEED" can be equipped by the EG Strike Gundam's weapon-holding hands.
