The 'AMAIM Warrior at the Borderline' model kit series, launched by BANDAI SPIRITS HOBBY Division in Japan, recently announced the latest product from its spin-off 'Kyoukai Senki: Kyokukou no Souki', the "HG 1/72 Gouyou Custom", slated for release in April 2024.
Developed by Brenson Company, the Gouyou Custom is a MAILeS that inherits the basic structure of the "Shirokiji". Compared to the Gouyou Prototype, its head, arms, and knees are more simplified, but it adopts the same multi-functional connection system and has been mass-produced, allowing for the free addition of armaments using hardpoints located throughout its body.
The "HG 1/72 Gouyou Custom" is a modification of the previously released Gouyou Prototype. Its head parts have been changed to a non-antenna specification, and the entire machine's molded color has been replaced with the characteristic military green. The unit also features a flexible articulation design, allowing it to be posed in combat stances with the included assault rifle, pistol, and arm-mounted pile driver. Additionally, the back and limbs are equipped with 3mm diameter expansion ports of the same specification, allowing for the self-addition of separately sold 'AMAIM Warrior at the Borderline' series armaments.
