MEDICOM TOY, a renowned Japanese toy company, has announced the latest product in its 6-inch articulated figure series "MAFEX": "Scarecrow", from the DC comic masterpiece "Batman: Hush"! It is scheduled for release in November 2024.
"Batman: Hush" is a comic created by Jeph Loeb and drawn by Korean-American comic master Jim Lee. The story features many famous villains, including Killer Croc, Poison Ivy, Riddler, Joker, Harley Quinn, and more. Batman also discovers that behind these villains, there seems to be a mysterious, bandage-faced figure named "Hush"! He not only appears to control all the villains, uses Poison Ivy to control Superman, launches a full-scale assault on the Bat-Family, but also seems to know everything about Batman's past.
This figure stands approximately 16 cm tall and highly reproduces the appearance of "Scarecrow" from the "Batman: Hush" comic, who loves to dominate enemies with fear. This includes the hat, almost identical to a real scarecrow standing in a field, the terrifying mask intricately sculpted with numerous stitch marks, the brown scarecrow costume, the gray paint application at the joints that resembles a worn effect, and the coarse hemp ropes covering his entire body. His gaunt, thin physique may seem frail, but he constantly exudes an eerie aura! Accessories include two head sculpts with the mask and hat, and one unmasked Jonathan Crane head sculpt; the overall design is truly excellent, but the lack of interchangeable hands and a giant scythe is a bit of a shame.
