BANDAI CANDY, the Shokugan division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., recently announced the latest product from the 'MINIPLA' assembly model Shokugan series, based on "Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger": "Tarantula Abyss & King Caucasus Kabuto Oja Metallic Ver. & Guardian Weapons", slated for release in July 2024.
This product includes the previously released King Caucasus Kabuto and Guardian Weapons such as Pillbug, Snail, Cicada, Centipede, and Hercules Beetle, as well as Tarantula Abyss, which is a recolored version of Tarantula Knight. It features metallic-textured molded colors throughout the body, pre-painted head parts, and a large number of luxurious electroplated gold parts, presenting a lavish black and gold color scheme.
Tarantula Abyss can transform from tarantula form to robot form, and King Caucasus Kabuto can reproduce its three transformation stages: fortress, Guardian God, and robot. Each Guardian Weapon can also transform into a weapon. This set can link with the separately sold "King-Ohger ZERO" and "Legend Guardian God" to combine into the toy-original 20-machine grand combination "God King-Ohger" in its jet-black version!
Additionally, the accessories include expansion parts for the separately sold "MINIPLA Guardian God Combination Series SP Legend King-Ohger Metallic Color Ver.", which include clenched fist-shaped hands and replacement parts that closely match the in-show size and design.
