Max Factory's plastic model brand "PLAMAX", in collaboration with renowned illustrator AKIMAN (Akira Yasuda) for the new bishoujo plastic model series "GODZ ORDER", recently announced the latest third product, "Divine Winged Dragon Knight REN FIRE DRAGON," slated for release in October 2024.
The "GODZ ORDER" series features characters and a world view personally designed by AKIMAN (Akira Yasuda). The maiden figures clad in statue-like steel wings and armor are called Silhouette Dolls. They are avatar humanoids that act as proxies for human life, and there are also special hero figures capable of fighting against the gods. In a "world of swords and magic" built with the latest technology, they fight to protect their homeland, ultimately beginning a new history as new humans. The product adopts a plastic model kit specification, creating an articulated body and abundant armaments. With a rich variety of molded part colors, partially pre-painted parts, and decals, it faithfully recreates the gorgeous designs from Akira Yasuda's illustrations.
Upon completion, the "Divine Winged Dragon Knight REN FIRE DRAGON" kit yields an articulated figure approximately 17 cm tall, along with cool armaments incorporating red dragon elements. It includes three interchangeable face parts: "normal face," "shouting face," and "smiling face," or you can create your own expressions using unpainted parts and waterslide decals. The chest and skirt parts are pre-painted, and combined with the included waterslide decals, they largely reproduce the original illustration's appearance. The entire body features flexible articulated joint designs, and the skirt is intricately segmented to minimize interference with leg articulation.
By swapping parts, the figure can don its cool crimson armor, with injection-molded parts faithfully reproducing delicate wing patterns, metallic engravings, belts, and buckle designs, creating a powerful and substantial appearance. For armaments, in addition to a short sword and two long swords carried on her person, she dual-wields two modern-style rifles. These two rifles also feature a transformation mechanism, allowing them to be used as two greatswords.
