Japanese model manufacturer Max Factory's plastic model kit brand "PLAMAX", in collaboration with renowned illustrator AKIMAN (Akira Yasuda), recently announced the latest fourth product in their new bishoujo plastic model series "GODZ ORDER": "GODZ ORDER HIMARI BAHAMUT", slated for release in October 2024.
The "GODZ ORDER" series features characters and a world view personally designed by AKIMAN (Akira Yasuda). The maiden bodies, clad in statue-like steel wings and armor, are called Silhouette Dolls. These are avatar humanoids that act as proxies for human life. There also exist special hero bodies capable of fighting against the gods, battling to protect their homeland in a "world of swords and magic" constructed with the latest technology. The products are designed as assembly model kits, featuring movable bodies and abundant armaments, with rich part molding colors, some pre-painted parts, and decals to faithfully reproduce the gorgeous designs from Akira Yasuda's illustrations.
Upon completion, the "GODZ ORDER HIMARI BAHAMUT" kit yields a movable body approximately 17 cm tall, along with cool armaments incorporating azure dragon elements. It includes three interchangeable face parts: "normal face," "shouting face," and "serious face," or you can use unpainted parts and waterslide decals to create custom expressions. The chest and skirt parts are pre-painted, and with the included waterslide decals, the original illustration's appearance can be largely reproduced. Various parts of the body feature flexible movable joint designs, and the skirt is intricately segmented to minimize interference with leg articulation.
By swapping parts, the body can be equipped with cool azure armor. Injection-molded parts reproduce intricate wing patterns, metallic carvings, belts, and metal buckle designs, creating a powerful and substantial appearance. In terms of armaments, in addition to a short sword and two long swords worn on the body, there is also a large spear and a shield that incorporate cool azure dragon elements such as dragon scales.
