The Danish LEGO toy company recently revealed another Gift-with-Purchase (GWP) set, the numbered 40681 "Retro Food Truck"!
This set contains a total of 310 pieces. In this compact vehicle + minifigure combination, you get a food truck predominantly in blue, red, and white, along with two minifigures. The food truck itself is truly charming; not only does it feature a beautifully sculpted front, but the red and white striped awning on the right side of the vehicle is also a very eye-catching detail. The rear of the truck also features a mechanism that can serve as a condiment station; it's unclear if there's a design to fold it up while driving. The design and stickers for the red sign are also spot-on. Now let's look at the interior of the truck~ Although the space is a bit small, details such as the grill, ingredients, and driver's seat are all nicely depicted. As for the minifigures, there's a busy, sweating owner and a customer.
Currently, this Gift-with-Purchase is expected to be available starting in January 2024. However, the actual purchase threshold has not yet been announced.
