In "What If... Iron Man Crashed into the Grandmaster?", Episode 4 of What If...? Season 2, which premiered just days before Christmas, after the Avengers' victory in the Battle of New York, Iron Man did not successfully return to Earth through the portal. Instead, he arrived on Sakaar, where he encountered the Grandmaster, Korg, and Valkyrie. Due to the damage to his original Mark VII armor, Tony, along with Korg and Valkyrie, used scrap materials on Sakaar to build a brand-new, colorful Iron Man suit! Its body and limbs exhibit a remarkably robust and bulky design, and its ability to transform into a race car is a major highlight.
This figure stands approximately 36 cm tall and features 28 points of articulation, faithfully recreating its vibrant color scheme and Sakaarian iconic patterns. The overall asymmetrical design, striking color blocking, and the massive tire parts located on its back are all very interesting, though the head appears slightly smaller than its animated counterpart. In addition to LED light-up functions in the helmet's eyes and chest armor, the faceplate also features a magnetic attachment. When opened, it reveals a Tony Stark head sculpt crafted with high-definition likeness technology. However, no other accessories are included; a small race car mode model would certainly have been a great addition. If you're looking for a Sakaarian Iron Man that can transform from armor to race car, set number 76194, the "Tony Stark's Sakaarian Iron Man," might also be a good option.
