Japanese Bandai Spirits recently announced the release of the latest toy product "Earth Garon COMPLETE EDITION" from "Ultraman Blazar," scheduled for March 2024.
The setting of "Ultraman Blazar" is an Earth frequently plagued by kaiju disasters. To defend against threats from within and outside Earth, humanity established the Global Guardian Force (GGF) in 1966. Returning to the present day where nature is rapidly being destroyed, the protagonist Gento Hiruma, who leads a special unit, merges with the Giant of Light "Ultraman Blazar" from Celestial Body M421 during a crisis. After this event, he is appointed captain of the secret special forces unit "SKaRD," responsible for resolving kaiju disasters using new weaponry. The main large-scale weapon among these is the "Type 23 Special Tactical Armored Monster Earth Garon," which moves on two legs, stands 50 meters tall, and is equipped with powerful armaments such as a Charged Particle Cannon and missiles. It can achieve excellent combat power with two pilots.
The "DX Earth Garon COMPLETE EDITION" for the Earth Garon main body is based on the previously released "DX Earth Garon," with some parts replaced by newly sculpted ones to provide more precise detail, such as sharpened head antennas and the removal of foot sole engravings. At the same time, the molding color of the parts has been changed, and the number of painted areas has been increased to further reproduce the colors as set in the series.
By replacing the eye parts, six different expressions can be recreated: normal, damaged, smiling, angry, ferocious, and brainwashed states. The hand parts also feature three interchangeable designs. The body now includes two new sound buttons that play various sound effects, including dialogue from the AI system EGOISS and SKaRD's five members, totaling over 100 lines of dialogue from the series, as well as attack sound effects and roaring sound effects for each Earth Garon form. It also features sound productions for four major scenes: deployment scenes, combat mode, brainwashed mode, and Episode 16 Emi Deployment Mode!
The armament accessories include the Mod.2 Enhancement Unit "600mm Electromagnetic Grenade Launcher/Railgun" and the Mod.3 Enhanced Flight Unit "Uranus Engine." When combined with the Earth Garon main body, these can recreate the Mod.2, Mod.3, and the combined Mod.4 enhanced forms. Furthermore, the connector on the back for attaching enhancement units is equipped with an "Automatic Combination Detection Mechanism," which automatically switches to the corresponding sound mode for the four enhancements when the respective unit is attached! In addition to the current information, this product will also announce unrevealed functions as the story unfolds!
