Under Japan's SEGA Games company, the popular "Luminasta" series of SEGA PRIZE figures will release a new product, "Luminasta Frieren," based on the popular anime "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End." It will be sold as a prize figure and is scheduled to appear in late February 2024!
The Japanese manga "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End (葬送のフリーレン)," originally written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe, tells the story of Frieren, an elven mage, who returns as a hero after a ten-year adventure with the human hero Himmel, the dwarven warrior Eisen, and the human priest Heiter. Frieren, who can live for a thousand years without aging, perceives the passage of time differently from mortals. After experiencing the deaths and aging of her companions, she regrets not having truly understood others. Frieren embarks on a new journey to experience the meaning of life and time.
The SEGA PRIZE figure "Luminasta Frieren" stands approximately 18 cm tall. It faithfully recreates Frieren's light purple twin tails and faint blue-green eyes. She holds a meaningful bouquet of Blue Moon Weeds in her hands, and her serene expression, combined with the translucent material of her hair tips, conveys an ethereal and graceful elven quality. Her delicate, predominantly white-gold cloak costume is meticulously painted and sculpted. The grassland-inspired base evokes the beautiful scenes from the series.
