BANDAI CANDY, the Shokugan division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., which issues the low-head-to-body ratio collectible figure series "CONVERGE MOTION," recently announced the latest product from the film "Shin Kamen Rider," the "Shin Kamen Rider BATTA-AUGMENTS SET," scheduled for release in June 2024. This product will be sold exclusively on Bandai's official online store, PREMIUM BANDAI.
"CONVERGE MOTION Kamen Rider" is a new series developed from the CONVERGE KAMEN RIDER series, continuing its characteristics of low-head-to-body ratio and rich detail. However, compared to the original series' unchanging single standing poses, the "CONVERGE MOTION Kamen Rider" series recreates classic appearance poses from the film with more dynamic sculpting, further showcasing the unique charm of each Rider and Kaijin, allowing for the display of cooperative battles and confrontation scenes.
The "Shin Kamen Rider BATTA-AUGMENTS SET" includes four locust-themed Riders: Kamen Rider No. 1, transformed by protagonist Takeshi Hongo; Kamen Rider No. 2 and Kamen Rider No. 2+1, transformed by Hayato Ichimonji; and the mass-produced Kamen Riders, "Mass-Produced Phase-Shift Locust Kaijin," which appear in the film in numbers up to 11 units. The set meticulously recreates the designs of their heads, red scarves, and trench coats, faithfully reproducing their cool transformation and appearance poses from the film.
