The dinosaur-themed assembly model series "PLANNOSAURUS", released by the HOBBY Division of BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd. in Japan, has announced the 8th product, "Giganotosaurus", scheduled for release in April 2024.
The 8th product, "Giganotosaurus", is considered the third largest terrestrial carnivorous dinosaur in history, having lived in southern North America during the Late Cretaceous period. The model's design meticulously recreates features based on the latest theories, such as the keratin-covered skin and protruding short horns above the eyes, more developed dorsal spines than Tyrannosaurus, thin and sharp teeth capable of separating flesh from bone, and forelimbs with developed muscles and three sharp claws.
The "PLANNOSAURUS Giganotosaurus" can be assembled without the need for nippers or glue. The parts not only feature precise and meticulously researched designs but are also divided into two layers: skeleton and outer skin. After assembly, you can choose to display it in either fossil or dinosaur form. In addition to an openable mouth, the forelimbs, hindlimbs, and neck all feature movable joint designs, allowing for slight pose changes for display.
