GOOD SMILE COMPANY's affordable pre-painted figure series, "POP UP PARADE," from Japan, is releasing the "POP UP PARADE Ichigo Kurosaki" PVC figure, based on the popular series BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War Arc! The suggested retail price is 4,800 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in June 2024!
The protagonist of BLEACH, Ichigo Kurosaki, is the descendant of a Shinigami and a Quincy, possessing multiple powers including Shinigami, Quincy, Hollow, and Fullbring within him. He inherited his mother's orange hair, which often leads him to be mistaken for a delinquent with an unusual hair color. This has made Ichigo somewhat reclusive, but in reality, he is a kind-hearted, righteous, academically excellent, and athletically gifted high school student who also serves as a Substitute Shinigami. His name carries the meaning of "one who protects something forever."
The "POP UP PARADE Ichigo Kurosaki" PVC figure stands approximately 19 cm tall. It faithfully recreates Ichigo's iconic battle-damaged look from the Thousand-Year Blood War Arc, featuring a serious and determined expression, holding his Zanpakuto in a reverse grip. The torn fabric on his chest and the dynamic sweep of his coat tails reveal his well-defined, sculpted abs, creating an overall incredibly cool presence!
