American collectible manufacturer Sideshow Collectibles recently officially unveiled the latest addition to its "Premium Format Figure" product line: the 1/4 scale full body statue of "Batgirl" from DC Comics! Shipping is expected to begin from August to November 2024.
This piece stands approximately 55 cm tall, depicting Batgirl in a triumphant, upright pose, wiping her chin with her left hand after defeating the classic villain "Clayface." In addition to the meticulously sculpted black and gold battle suit, which features extensive mud-splattered weathering and damage, the flowing sculpt of her red hair and Batgirl's physique are also excellently rendered. Her figure from the side, especially her shapely thighs, which remain incredibly sensual despite being encased in her form-fitting suit, is particularly striking!
Beyond the Batgirl figure itself, the colossal base, themed after Clayface, is also infused with a wealth of detail. This includes the delicate, flowing and irregular forms of Clayface's body, his gaping maw filled with sharp teeth, the emerging facial silhouettes of Batman & Nightwing, and the numerous Batarangs impaled upon it, all vividly conveying the scene of Clayface being painfully struck by electrified Batarangs and rendered unable to fight.
