Premium Collectibles Studio (PCS), an American sculpting brand adept at showcasing character charm through large-scale statues, whose "TMNT Legends" product line, after releasing "Raphael" and "Donatello," has finally officially unveiled the eldest of the four Turtle brothers, "Leonardo," recently! He also makes his debut as a 1/3 scale full-body statue, with both a Regular Edition and a DX Edition to be released simultaneously, expected to ship from September to November 2024.
This "TMNT Legends Leonardo" stands approximately 52 cm tall, and is once again designed based on illustrations by the Kucharek Brothers, with the overall sculpting handled by Tiago Rios. It captures Leonardo in a battle-ready pose, wielding his sharp katana in a fierce struggle against a Mouser robot. Leonardo's body is sculpted with robust musculature, meticulously recreating details such as his blue eye mask, shell, scabbards, protective gear, bandages, and more. The exquisite painting techniques convey the distinct textures of fabric, leather, and the katana, as well as the organic feel of his skin and shell. The base is designed with the classic New York sewer theme, featuring not only drainpipes, a broken Mouser robot, and rocks, but also an excellent translucent visual effect for the pooled water.
