Following the "Type 23 Special Tactical Armored Beast Earth Garon," the popular action figure series "S.H.Figuarts", released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., recently announced that the latest product from "Ultraman Blazar," the "Earth Garon Expansion Parts Set," is currently in development, with its release date yet to be determined.
The Type 23 Special Tactical Armored Beast Earth Garon is the main large-scale weapon used by the secret special unit "SKaRD," led by the protagonist Gento Hiruma in the series, to combat the giant monsters appearing in various locations. Earth Garon moves on two legs, stands 50 meters tall, and is equipped with powerful armaments such as charged particle cannons and missiles. It can unleash excellent combat power when piloted by two personnel. Later, it was further equipped with the Mod.2 enhancement unit "600mm Electromagnetic Grenade Launcher/Railgun" and the Mod.3 enhanced flight unit "Uranus Engine" to supplement its powerful firepower and aerial combat capabilities.
The already released "S.H.Figuarts Type 23 Special Tactical Armored Beast Earth Garon" recreates its entire mechanical structure and armor colors with precise sculpting, while also featuring articulated joint designs such as limb, waist, foot hydraulic rod linkage, and multi-segmented tail. Various pupil designs can also be changed using interchangeable head parts. Although only a silhouette is visible for the "Earth Garon Expansion Parts Set" announced this time, it clearly includes both Mod.2 and Mod.3 armaments, and can even recreate the Mod.4 enhanced form, which combines the aforementioned two armaments and gains space combat capabilities!
