Japan's GOOD SMILE COMPANY's popular product series "Nendoroid" has unveiled its latest product from Ryoko Kui's "Delicious in Dungeon": "Laios"!
Updated January 18, 2024:
"Delicious in Dungeon" centers on "an adventure of tasting gourmet food in a dungeon labyrinth." The protagonist, Laios, and his party failed in their challenge against the Red Dragon and were wiped out. To rescue his sister, Farlyn, who was swallowed by the Red Dragon, he decided to challenge the dungeon again. To solve the food problem on a low budget (and because he had always wanted to taste monsters), Laios, along with the mage Marcille, the locksmith Chilchuck, and their newly encountered companion, Senshi, an axe-wielding warrior who has been researching monster cuisine for ten years, embark on a self-sufficient monster cooking exploration journey in the dungeon.
The "Nendoroid Laios" faithfully recreates his silver armor and the longsword hanging at his waist, based on the anime's design. In addition to the glossy finish on the armor, the detailed sculpting is also excellent. The head sculpt features three expressions: a standard face, a closed-eye face, and a captivated smile showing his intense interest in monsters. What's truly fantastic is the inclusion of chopsticks, a bowl containing the monster dish "Giant Scorpion and Walking Mushroom Hot Pot," and the adorable Walking Mushroom itself, making Laios chasing it an absolutely delightful scene!
▼ Pre-ordering this product from the GOODSMILE Online Shop will include a bonus interchangeable hand holding a spatula.
▼ In addition to Laios, Nendoroids for Marcille, Chilchuck, and Senshi will also be released – absolutely fantastic!
