Japanese toy company Good Smile Company's best-selling "Nendoroid" (ねんどろいど) series is scheduled to release "Hanazono Yurine" (花園ゆりね), the protagonist from the anime series "Jashin-chan Dropkick", in June 2024, priced at 6,500 JPY.
The work "Jashin-chan Dropkick" (邪神ちゃんドロップキック), created by manga artist Yukiwo (ユキヲ), began serialization online in 2012. An anime adaptation was released in 2018 and has aired for three seasons. In December 2013, a special long-form anime, "Jashin-chan Dropkick: End of the Century Arc," was also released. The story primarily describes how the protagonist, Hanazono Yurine, accidentally summoned Jashin-chan. However, lacking the spell to send her back to the demon world, Jashin-chan is forced to live in the human world with Yurine. The mischievous Jashin-chan constantly schemes to kill Yurine to return to the demon world (as the summoning spell becomes invalid upon the summoner's death). Unfortunately, due to Yurine's formidable power, these wicked plans always end in failure. The story hilariously unfolds with their daily lives and their gradually increasing circle of companions.
Hanazono Yurine is a female university student, 160 cm tall. Her family runs a shrine, but she has a fondness for black magic. She wears an eyepatch as an accessory on her left eye and enjoys Gothic Lolita fashion. While she appears cute and delicate on the outside, she actually possesses a cruel and violent side (especially towards Jashin-chan). She has formidable combat power and often inflicts severe, brutal, and bloody punishments with various torture devices on Jashin-chan, who constantly tries to harm her. Towards others like Medusa and Pekora, she is very kind and amiable. She loves mayonnaise and is afraid of cockroaches.
This Nendoroid of Hanazono Yurine faithfully recreates her appearance from the original work and the anime. It also comes with three interchangeable face plates, including a gloomy face and a mischievous grin. As for accessories, in addition to interchangeable hand parts, it includes the machete she often uses to "punish" Jashin-chan. Displaying her with the previously released Jashin-chan in her bleeding state will make for an even more amusing scene. Furthermore, if ordered through the GOODSMILE ONLINE SHOP, a special base will be included.
