Japanese high-end statue manufacturer Prime 1 Studio, in collaboration with renowned Korean collectibles brand Blitzway, has announced the latest product from their "Museum Masterline" series: the "T-1000 Final Battle" 1/3 scale full body statue, based on "Terminator 2"! Both a Regular Version and a DX Bonus Version will be released simultaneously, with an estimated shipping date between April and July 2025.
"Terminator 2" continues the story from the first film. After Skynet failed to assassinate Sarah Connor, this time it sent the newer and stronger "T-1000" to 1995, aiming to kill Sarah Connor's son, the future leader of humanity, John Connor. The human resistance, in turn, sent a modified Terminator T-800, identical to the one from the first film, to protect John (model T-101). However, the more advanced liquid metal robot T-1000 can self-repair from any damage, relentlessly pursuing its target, John Connor, which is quite terrifying! The T-1000's only weakness is extreme temperature changes.
The T-1000 created by P1S this time is so incredibly lifelike that it instantly brings back the fear of the T-1000's relentless advance, just like watching it on TV! Standing at an impressive 72.7 cm tall, it faithfully recreates actor Robert Patrick's chilling facial contours and his early on-screen presence. The police uniform's badge and the "AUSTIN" name tag are meticulously reproduced. The steel mill scene base, designed around the final battle between the T-101 and T-1000, even features a small detail that eagle-eyed collectors will surely spot: the severed arm hook from the car chase scene!
The Regular Version will include an interchangeable right hand, one relaxed and one holding a hexagonal iron bar. The DX Version is even more impressive, adding an interchangeable head sculpt with a large hole shot through it, an interchangeable left hand in a slightly open pose, 5 liquid metal effect parts depicting shotgun impacts (with magnetic features), and an additional display base for the extra head sculpt. Coupled with the LED light-up function on the steel mill scene base, it's truly powerful!
