Japanese toy company BANDAI's candy toy division, BANDAI CANDY, is scheduled to release its latest product, "Super Robot Wars OG ORIGINAL COLLECTION 03," based on the theme of "Super Robot Wars OG" (スーパーロボット大戦OG), in July 2024, priced at 4,796 JPY.
The "Super Robot Wars OG ORIGINAL COLLECTION" series of candy toys, launched by BANDAI CANDY, is a special project to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the company's flagship game series, "Super Robot Wars." It features multiple popular original mechs that have appeared in the game, reinterpreted and materialized at a 6cm scale, similar to the CONVERGE series. The appearance, details, and articulation are all of a high standard, making them quite exquisite.
This third installment, "Super Robot Wars OG ORIGINAL COLLECTION 03," also includes four popular original mechs: Ryukoh-Oh, Koryu-Oh, Huckebein Mk-III, and "The Jet Black Angel" Astranagant.
・Ryukoh-Oh
The familiar Super Robot protagonist unit, formed by the combination of RyuOhki and KohOhki. Its wings on the back indicate its proficiency in aerial combat (and underwater), and it comes with the uniquely designed melee weapon, "Ryuoh Hazanken."
・Koryu-Oh
Another form created by the combination of RyuOhki and KohOhki, known for its high speed and proficiency in ground combat. It comes with the weapon "Koh-Oh Shinsoku-Yari," which can be freely attached and detached.
・Huckebein Mk-III (ヒュッケバインMk-III)
A very familiar original protagonist unit, developed with the concept of a "miniaturized, high-performance SRX." It comes with its basic weapon, the Graviton Rifle, which can be freely attached and detached.
・"The Jet Black Angel" Astranagant (アストラナガン)
Originally piloted by Ingram, this antagonist unit lives up to its name with an all-black paint scheme accented with red lines. It comes with the melee weapon "Z.O. Sword," which can be freely attached and detached.
