From Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Division TAMASHII NATIONS, the popular action figure series 'S.H.Figuarts' today announced the latest product from "Ultraman Mebius", "Hunter Knight Tsurugi", scheduled for release in June 2024.
Ultraman "Hikari" of the Blue Tribe was originally one of the outstanding researchers at the Land of Light's Space Science Technology Bureau. While his research into "Life Solidification Technology" benefited many Ultramen and led to his promotion to director, this technology also sparked wars in some regions. Blaming himself, Hikari embarked on a journey of exile, disregarding others. During this time, he arrived at the beautiful planet "Arb", where he felt reborn. After passing the trials of Ultraman King, he obtained the "Knight Brace" and became a loyal ally of Arb, donning the legendary "Armor of Heroes" in an attempt to prevent the prophesied destruction of Arb. However, after the high-dimensional predator Bogar attacked, Hikari was still unable to protect anyone or anything. The grief, anger, and resentment of Arb within him transformed his Armor of Heroes into an unremovable Armor of Vengeance, turning him into "Hunter Knight Tsurugi", a demon of revenge who stops at nothing.
"S.H.Figuarts Hunter Knight Tsurugi" is supervised by Tsuburaya Productions' LSS sculpting department, recreating his in-show appearance with a highly articulated 15 cm tall specification. The entire body features articulated joint designs that are difficult to expose, allowing for dynamic posing. The "Armor of Vengeance" Arb Armor worn on his body utilizes printing and metallic paint applications to express the armor's unique patterns and metallic texture. Accessories include effect parts to recreate special moves such as "Knight Beam Blade" and "Knight Ray", and interchangeable right arm parts can also reproduce the state without the "Knight Brace" equipped.
Furthermore, the product also includes a BONUS part, the "Mebius Blade (Broken Version)", which can be used with the separately sold "S.H.Figuarts Ultraman Mebius"!
