From Japanese model manufacturer GOOD SMILE COMPANY's mechanical-themed brand MECHA SMILE, the completed combining toy series "THE GATTAI" today announced the latest product from "GRIDMAN UNIVERSE", "DX Full Power Gridman", scheduled for release in August 2024.
This product is an updated version of the previously announced "THE GATTAI DX Full Power Gridknight", thoroughly improved with completely new parts compared to the DX version released in 2019. The overall size has also been enlarged to match the scale of "THE GATTAI DX DYNAZENON", which appeared in the sequel, reaching approximately 24 cm in head height when fully combined. New designs, including ratchet joints built into the Gridman figure's main body, knee articulation (absent in the previous work), and a dedicated body for combination, significantly enhance the joint strength and stability after combination.
"THE GATTAI DX Full Power Gridman" faithfully recreates its in-series appearance with excellent sculpting and coloring for both the Gridman main body and each support machine. In addition to being playable individually, it features a perfect transformation and combination mechanism that requires no part swapping. Through different combinations with Gridman, it can recreate the mighty combining hero "MAX GRIDMAN" (combining with BATTLE TRACTO MAX), the armed combining hero "BUSTER GRIDMAN" (combining with Buster Borr), the aerial combining hero "SKY GRIDMAN" (combining with Sky Vittor), and the ultimate combining hero "Full Power Gridman" when all units combine. Each support machine can also independently combine to form "Combining Warrior POWERED ZENON".
Regarding interlocking with other "THE GATTAI" Gridman series products, in addition to equipping the DYNAMIC CANNON from "THE GATTAI DX DYNAZENON" onto Full Power Gridman, there is also an original toy combination mechanism that allows Full Power Gridman to combine with GOLDBURN from "THE GATTAI GRIDKNIGHT & GOLDBURN"!
