The highly popular "Super Action Statue" movable figure series, launched by Japan's MEDICOS ENTERTAINMENT Co., Ltd., is specially releasing the "Kenshiro Swarovski Crystal Limited Edition" to celebrate the 40th anniversary of "Fist of the North Star." 50 units will be pre-released at the upcoming renowned Japanese model exhibition "Wonder Festival (WF) 2024 Winter" venue this year, with another 50 units available via lottery sale on the MEDICOS ONLINE SHOP. The suggested retail price is 40,000 JPY!
Even those unfamiliar with the original work have likely heard of the classic Japanese martial arts manga "Fist of the North Star." The manga began serialization in 1983, with Buronson as the writer and Tetsuo Hara as the artist. The series has since accumulated over 100 million copies in circulation worldwide and has been adapted into anime and video games. The story is set in a future where human civilization has been destroyed by nuclear war, and the surviving humans live by the law of the jungle, until Kenshiro appears – the 64th successor to the ancient Chinese mysterious assassination art of Hokuto Shinken, bearing seven scar-like wounds on his chest.
The "Super Action Statue Kenshiro Swarovski Crystal Limited Edition," limited to 100 units worldwide, is based on the previously released "Super Action Statue Kenshiro," with the addition of Swarovski crystal embellishments. In addition to crystals adorning the leather jacket collar, armor, boots, and belt, enhancing the overall luxurious and opulent feel, the Big Dipper scars on his chest are also inlaid with crystals (quite grotesque)! It also features special limited-edition packaging, presenting an even more premium feel!
