Japanese toy brand Prime 1 Studio's statue series "Concept MasterLine" will release a 1/6 scale statue of "Asta", the protagonist from the popular anime and manga series "Black Clover"! It is scheduled for release between April and July 2025.
"Black Clover" is a shonen manga series created by Japanese manga artist Yūki Tabata, centered around magic battles. It began serialization in "Weekly Shonen Jump" in issue 12 of 2015, with an anime adaptation launched in October 2017. The story primarily follows protagonists Asta and his best friend Yuno, both aspiring to become the strongest magic-user, the "Wizard King." Yuno possesses exceptional natural talent, but Asta is born without any magical power. Unexpectedly, he acquires the legendary "Black Clover" grimoire, from which he obtains a black greatsword, granting him anti-magic abilities. Subsequently, Asta is noticed by Yami, the captain of the Magic Knights squad "Black Bulls," who invites him to join. Asta then meets his peer Noelle and many seniors within the squad, and the story unfolds from there.
This Asta statue from Prime 1 Studio is crafted in 1/6 scale, standing approximately 50 cm tall. Its appearance depicts Asta's transformed state after his right arm gradually receives anti-magic power. In this form, one of Asta's eyes changes color, his mouth reveals teeth, and half of his body appears demonized, with magical wings emerging from his back. An aura of dark red energy surrounds his entire body, and coupled with the "Demon-Slayer Sword" greatsword held in his right hand, he exudes a powerful yet somewhat ominous presence.
The statue's overall detail is exquisite, including Asta's expression, the headband on his head, and the cloak he wears, all bearing the emblem of the "Black Bulls" Magic Knights squad he belongs to. The cobblestone floor he stands on cleverly forms a special base, and to its front right lies Asta's five-leaf clover grimoire. The overall presentation appears rich and magnificent.
In addition to the regular version, this product also offers an EX BONUS version, which includes three interchangeable face parts: normal, shouting, and smiling. Swapping out different expressions allows for various portrayals of Asta.
