The renowned Hong Kong action figure toy brand "Storm Collectibles", known for releasing numerous SNK fighting game character products, will be launching an action figure product of the character "K'" (K DASH) from 《The King of Fighters 2002 UM》 in its 1/12 scale action figure series, slated for release in the third quarter of 2024! The price will be 85 USD.
K' (pronounced K DASH) is the second protagonist in The King of Fighters series, following Kyo Kusanagi. He first appeared in 《KOF99》, which was also the first installment of the "NESTS Saga". K' has silver-white hair, a full black leather outfit, and sunglasses, giving him a cool and stylish appearance. He is a cyborg created by the NESTS organization, possessing the ability to use the "Kusanagi Flames," but requires gloves to control them. He is silent and doesn't speak much, but his heart burns with passion. His fighting style primarily combines flames with various pure violent strikes, such as the 'Trigger,' 'Second Shell,' and the anti-air move 'Crow Bites.' His ultimate move, "Chain Drive," where he throws his sunglasses, is a highly distinctive move unique to K'.
This K' figure by Storm Collectibles is produced in 1/12 scale. The base body features multiple articulated joints to achieve the rich range of motion seen in the game. It comes with various accessories, including multiple sets of interchangeable hand parts and two flame effects, allowing for the recreation of some of K''s special in-game actions. These include giving a thumbs-down gesture, his right hand emitting flames, and flame effects for his anti-air moves. Of course, K''s signature accessory, his "sunglasses," are indispensable and can be freely put on and taken off. Three interchangeable facial expressions are also included, making the overall package quite rich.
