Released by the HOBBY Division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., the 'FULL MECHANICS' series, known for its high-density details and ease of assembly, recently announced the latest limited product from "Mobile Suit Gundam The Witch from Mercury", the "FULL MECHANICS 1/100 Gundam Aerial Permet Score Six", which will be exclusively sold at the Bandai Plastic Model Festival 'HYPER PLAMO Fes.2024' held at Makuhari Messe, Japan, from March 22-24, 2024. Additionally, the product will be pre-sold on Bandai's official online store, PREMIUM BANDAI.
The XVX-016 Gundam Aerial is a GUND-ARM type mobile suit developed by Shin Sei Development Corporation located on Mercury. This unit was modified by President Prospera (Elnora Samaya) from the Lfrith Gundam, and before her daughters Ericht's bodies were near death, their personalities were transferred into Aerial's data storm, becoming a new body. The unit is equipped with armaments such as beam sabers, a beam rifle, and a shield, and the shield can separate into 11 "GUND-Bits". These can not only be used as remotely controlled all-range wireless weapons, "Funnels", but can also connect to various points on the body and the beam rifle, serving as equipment to enhance mobility and firepower. Furthermore, when piloted by Suletta, it can activate a superhuman high-level "Permet Score", unleashing inexplicable and extraordinary abilities.
The "FULL MECHANICS 1/100 Gundam Aerial Permet Score Six" is a modification based on the previously released standard version. The molding colors of the white, blue, yellow, and red parts across the entire body have been replaced, and it combines clear blue parts with glitter and plated blue internal frame parts, to recreate the blue-glowing appearance when Suletta activated "Permet Score Six" in a moment of crisis during her duel with Shaddiq in the show.
The rest of the design remains the same as the standard version. Compared to the MG series, the kit's frame structure has been significantly simplified to reduce assembly difficulty, but through intricate part separation, it retains flexible movable joints and armor interlocking mechanisms, allowing for various natural, human-like poses. For armaments, it similarly includes a beam rifle, beam sabers, and a shield. The shield can separate into 11 "GUND-Bits" and connect to various points on the body and the beam rifle, or be combined with a separately sold display stand to recreate its "Funnel" usage. More detailed product information will be announced at a later date.
