In addition to the "Forest Animals" (set number 31154), the Danish LEGO toy company has announced another new 3-in-1 Creator series set: "31158 Sea Animals"! It is expected to be released on March 1, 2024, with a suggested retail price of US$29.99.
This set contains a total of 421 pieces. In addition to using various colored bricks and 1x1 printed eye tiles to build a rich array of marine creatures, you can also use transparent bar pieces and cylindrical transparent pieces to give the animals the visual effect of swimming freely underwater. What's even more amazing are the pearlescent dome pieces, which look just like glowing plants in the sea! And some pieces that might typically be used as vines or tree branches have different uses here! Plus, the various animal designs are truly adorable; the sea turtle, crab, and the green octopus that looks super like a watermelon might be my personal favorites right now.
