The customizable Gundam capsule toy series "MOBILE SUIT ENSEMBLE", launched by Japan's Bandai GASHAPON division, is set to re-release its previously launched 18th edition in May 2024. This re-release will feature new color variations and be designated as the "18.5" version, available as a complete boxed set for 5,500 JPY.
The original 18th series included the following mobile suits:
1. RX-78-1 Gundam Prototype
2. Silver Bullet Suppressor
3. Zaku Warrior
4. Zaku Warrior (Lunamaria Hawke Custom)
5. MS-12 Gigan
For this 18.5 version, the same five mobile suits from the previous 18th series will be re-released with different new color schemes. The changes are as follows:
・RX-78-1 Gundam Prototype. The white parts have been replaced with a metallic finish.
・Silver Bullet Suppressor. Special fuselage markings have been added to the shoulders and waist skirt armor.
・Zaku Warrior (Dearka Elsman Custom).
・Zaku Warrior (Concert Specification). This is the special specification originally used by Meer Campbell for her concert performances. It features a pink color scheme, along with heart and Haro patterns printed on both shoulders.
・Gigan. Changed from its original red to a darker, more subdued brown.
