Bandai's GASHAPON division, known for its highly popular "Waiting" series of gashapon products, has once again announced its latest creation: the "Waiting Noh Mask" gashapon! There are five types in total, with a reference price of 300 JPY per capsule, and they are scheduled to be released in February 2024.
The "Waiting Noh Mask" continues the personified style of its predecessors, with the protagonists this time being Noh masks from traditional Japanese art. They are designed in a pose of patiently waiting, with their legs tucked in and hands resting on their knees, presenting a somewhat pitiful appearance, and that large mask face is quite bizarre!!! This lineup includes: Ko-omote, Okina, Hannya, Kitsune, and Ōbeshimi. At a size of approximately 4 cm, the characteristic mask features are intricately carved, and the hollowed-out back also forms the same shape as the real object! They can even be stacked on other figures...
