KADOKAWA's figure brand "KDcolle" will release its latest product from the "Date A Live" series: the "Kurumi Tokisaki Empress Ver." 1/7 scale figure. The suggested retail price is 29,700 JPY, with an estimated release in October 2024. (A special KADOKAWA set with bonus items will also be available.)
"Kurumi Tokisaki," a popular character from the light novel series "Date A Live" (デート・ア・ライブ) written by Koushi Tachibana, is the third Spirit in the series, named after the sephirot of the Kabbalah Tree of Life. Kurumi Tokisaki holds the title of the "Worst Spirit," possessing the ability to manipulate shadows and time, and can create clones to enhance her combat power. Normally, her bangs cover her left golden clock-eye, which rotates when her ability, Zafkiel (刻刻帝), is activated.
The "Kurumi Tokisaki Empress Ver." 1/7 scale figure is based on an illustration specially drawn by original artist Tsunako (つなこ) for the mobile game "Fantasia Re: Build," bringing Kurumi elegantly seated on a sofa to life! Standing approximately 17 cm tall, the figure captures Kurumi's fearless, confident smile, and her cool gaze combined with flushed cheeks is utterly captivating. Her regal and comfortable sitting pose showcases Kurumi's outstanding physique, with her legs casually resting on the sofa armrest, creating eye-catching leg lines that are an undeniable highlight! The long and short gun accessories and her elaborate attire are all meticulously painted, accented with metallic finishes to give the overall piece a more substantial feel. The texture of the sofa's leather is also realistically rendered through its glossy finish.
