Bandai's GASHAPON capsule toy division has once again announced the latest addition to its highly popular "In Waiting" series: the "Mahjong Tiles in Waiting, Third Round" Gashapon! There are a total of seven types of tiles, with a reference price of 300 JPY per capsule, scheduled for release in February 2024.
The "Mahjong Tiles in Waiting, Third Round" continues the anthropomorphic style of its predecessors, with the protagonists this time being Japanese mahjong tiles. The mahjong tiles are designed in a pitiful, somewhat helpless pose, patiently waiting: with their legs tucked in and hands resting on their knees, as if waiting to be 'eaten' (chii) or 'ponged'!
