GOOD SMILE COMPANY from Japan's affordable pre-painted figure series "POP UP PARADE" is releasing the "POP UP PARADE Kirby" PVC figure, based on the popular game "Kirby's Dream Land"! The suggested retail price is 4,800 JPY, with an estimated release in June 2024!
The protagonist of the game "Kirby's Dream Land", "Kirby", is a pink, unidentified creature approximately thirty centimeters tall, with a simple, round, and plump physique, and is a glutton who loves to eat! He possesses powerful inhaling abilities, allowing him to suck in and devour enemies, thereby replicating their special abilities and unleashing various moves. This image of being able to "eat anything" contrasted with his adorable appearance has earned him the moniker "Pink Demon". By inhaling a large amount of air, he can float freely in the air like a balloon, and the exhaled air can also be used as a weapon to attack enemies.
The "POP UP PARADE Kirby" PVC figure, standing approximately 14 cm tall, brings to life Kirby's adorable pose as he lies on a Warp Star~ The base is designed in the shape of a cloud, supported by pink translucent parts, creating the effect of riding the Warp Star as it bursts through the clouds★ The light blue gradient effect parts are adorned with stars, which are given a glossy finish. Compared to Kirby's saturated pink hue, this creates a richer texture and layering! Simple yet cute~
